🔥 Strike while the iron is hot!!
🎉 I’m now officially AWS Certified Developer – Associate! 🚀💻
Issued by Amazon Web Services (AWS)!
This marks my fourth AWS certification and it was the most developer-focused one yet.
The preparation was tough, but incredibly rewarding.
Unlike architecture-focused exams, this exam tested my ability to build, deploy, and optimize real applications in the cloud.
This certification pushed me to go deeper into:
Develop, test, and deploy efficient AWS Lambda functions
Build event-driven applications using API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
Use the AWS SDKs and CLI to interact with and automate AWS services
Implement CI/CD pipelines using CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
Deploy applications using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, SAM, and Elastic Beanstalk
Secure workloads using IAM roles, policies, environment variables, and AWS Secrets Manager
Monitor, trace, and debug applications using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Step Functions
Handle retries, throttling, timeouts, and pagination gracefully
Design idempotent, resilient, and fault-tolerant APIs
Manage configuration using AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store
Troubleshoot and optimize serverless applications in real-world environments and much more
It deepened my understanding of event-driven design, deployment automation, and serverless operations at scale.
Massive thanks again to Stéphane Maarek! His course and practice exams were spot on as always. If you’re a developer working with AWS or planning to take this cert, I highly recommend his content.
Excited to keep leveling up and applying this knowledge to build scalable, production-ready apps on AWS.
If you’re in the same journey, let’s connect and share what we’re learning! ☁️💡
