Today I end my tenure at HCL Japan. 🙏
I had the privilege of working on one of the largest enterprise cloud transformation projects in Japan, Migrating hundreds of databases and applications from on-premise infrastructure to AWS.
I worked directly with one of Japan's biggest automotive giant, alongside incredible teams from Hitachi, Fujitsu, AWS, Tech Mahindra, and many others.
Application vendors. Database owners. Engineers across companies and time zones.
This wasn't just a project. It was a masterclass in cloud architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering under pressure.
What I'm taking with me:
☁️ Deep experience in large-scale cloud migration
🤝 How to communicate across cultures, companies, and departments
🧠 How to stay calm when production is on the line
📈 Confidence that I can deliver at the enterprise level
To my coworkers, bosses, and every team I had the chance to work with, Thank you 🙇♂️. For the trust. For the lessons. For making this experience unforgettable.
One chapter closes. Another begins.
I'm excited for what's next.
Thank you, HCL Japan.
Software Engineer, signing off. 🫡
